Alex Keech is promoted to vice president head of integrated production, Stuart Taylor to executive creative director and Zara Kerwood as executive director, creative technology

Global Experience Marketing agency, George P. Johnson (GPJ), has announced three new promotions in the UK, solidifying its commitment to delivering cutting-edge experiences, continuous innovation and accelerated growth in the EMEA region.

“This year GPJ will be celebrating its 110th year. Still fiercely independent, longevity has been founded on our ability to change and adapt and the importance of our people. Promoting from within is a testament to that. Throughout the agency we endeavour to create the conditions for progression. It’s something that requires continual focus and adaptation - the world we live in now is very different to that of 110 years ago - but what remains consistent is the value of championing from within and we are proud to recognise with these promotions” said Jonathan McCallum, SVP managing director, UK and Norway.

Alex Keech promoted to vice president head of integrated production

Alex Keech's exceptional leadership has propelled her career at GPJ over the past eight years. Starting as an event director, her outstanding achievements earned her a promotion to head of integrated production in 2021, and she was recently appointed as the vice president head of integrated production.

Under Alex's guidance, the integrated production team has flourished, delivering over 130 influential events annually for esteemed clients like IBM, Cisco, Booking.com and DP World. Her strategic oversight of GPJ's largest event, Cisco Live, with a team of 600 staff and suppliers, a significant example of what has led to her team doubling in size over the last two years.

Appointment of Stuart Taylor as executive creative director

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Stuart Taylor has been appointed as the new executive creative director at GPJ UK. His expertise spans diverse sectors, including retail, leisure, hospitality, exhibition, attraction, and branded design environments. Stuart's eye for detail of the environment’s we envisage has transformed client briefs into tangible projects through a seamless blend of creative concepts, tendering, site implementation, and handover.

His leadership at GPJ has further solidified his reputation, when he was a key creative on the winning DP World pitch, and managing high-profile projects like Envesnet’s Elevate, Google Next and Booking.com’s Click events.

In his new role as ECD, Stuart will leverage his vision to free others to be their best; bringing their own specific areas of expertise to bear and the relentless pursuit of design excellence to push creative boundaries, designing and delivering distinctive experiences for our clients and new projects.

Zara Kerwood appointed executive director, creative technology

Zara has created a momentum for growth for creative technology at GPJ. Leading her team in developing innovative tech experiences for high-profile clients such as Booking.com, Starbucks, and DP World. Her expertise spans AI, UX (AR/VR), games, cloud, and IoT and has spearheaded the nascent stages of global digital transformation in brand experiences.

Her promotion to executive director, creative technology and integration into the broader creative leadership team recognises her significant contribution and her pivotal role in accelerating GPJ's digital revenue with ground breaking tech applications.

As GPJ UK continues its growth trajectory, these three key promotions (and others across the agency) signify the agency's dedication to cultivating creative excellence, embracing technological advancements, and supporting incredible talent in their quest to realise and deliver the work.
