Goldfish has recently launched its newest product, Goldfish CRISPS. This new, light and airy bite-sized snack is a Goldfish take on the traditional chip. Always baked and made with real potatoes, it offers snack lovers the satisfaction of a chip without the heavy indulgence that typically comes with them. With its light and airy texture, this new snack deserved a worthy companion to introduce it to Canadians. Introducing: the Lightest Bowl.
The Lightest Bowl is a levitating snack bowl, custom-designed for Goldfish CRISPS. A magnetic base causes the bowl to levitate and spin in the air, all while holding up to two servings of Crisps. Canadians have a chance to win one of five Lightest Bowl for themselves, along with a supply of Crisps, by following @GoldfishCanada, tagging a friend and commenting #contest. The contest is open from May 23rd until June 6th, 2024.
“We know that our target seeks moments of joy and playfulness in their day. Pairing our new Goldfish CRISPS with the Lightest Bowl helps us show them that CRISPS are a playfully light snack, with the craveability of a chip.” said Sarah Broomfield, marketing director - snacks at Campbell Company of Canada.
The Lightest Bowl was developed by agency partner Zulu Alpha Kilo, with media planned by Spark Foundry, and PR led by Proof Strategies. Video and static assets are running on Meta and TikTok, and PR activities include influencer partnerships and seeding, along with a media preview event in mid-April.
“The Goldfish brand has given us an interesting creative opportunity” said Brian Murray, chief creative officer, Zulu Alpha Kilo. “For the launch of the new Goldfish CRISPS, we wanted to retain the playfulness of the brand but speak to an older audience. We were able to infuse a bit of 'magic' to these bowls to help elevate the snacking experience for adults”
Goldfish CRISPS come in three flavours – Cheddar, Sour Cream and Onion, and Salt and Vinegar – and are now available in grocery chains across Canada.
