The campaign from MullenLowe LA launches on the tail of Hawaii's pre-travel testing announcement and will feature across social and digital platforms
MullenLowe LA’s has released a new campaign for Hawaiian Airlines tapping into the insight of its intense desire to travel after months on lockdown. Due to international restrictions, Hawaii is high on the list as a destination that feels within reach. The agency started having fun with the longing for vacation that so many of us are experiencing through creating a series of videos which will appear on social and digital channels.
During the pandemic, Hawaii was placed on lockdown from March - October 2020. Visitors were required to participate in a 14-day quarantine, which heavily impacted tourism and therefore bookings and demand for Hawaiian Airlines.
Unlike other carriers that fly to and from multiple destinations in the United States, Hawaiian Airlines flies only to and from the Islands. With resumed flights on Hawaiian Airlines, travel dreams can become a reality for some of us.
The campaign launches on the tail of the state’s pre-travel testing announcement. Since 15th October, travellers who can produce a negative test result within 72 hours of their flight to Hawaii are eligible to bypass quarantine.
