This weekend, a man named Heinz Le wed in ketchup bliss.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Heinz Le has been a HEINZ superfan since day one, and when he was given the nickname “Heinz Ketchup” in the 8th Grade, it stuck. Years later, when Heinz popped the question to Michelle (ketchup included), they knew their special day wouldn’t be complete without his very first love: HEINZ. What’s a longtime lover of the brand to do? Naturally, he sent HEINZ a wedding invitation.
A brand known for celebrating fans’ irrational love of HEINZ and the unexpected lengths they’ll go for their favourite ketchup, HEINZ RSVPed “YES,” complete with a never-before-seen gift designed specially with the superfan’s namesake in mind. In collaboration with The Kitchen, Heinz teamed up with Chicago-based condiment artist Ethan Chan to create a “something new": a one-of-a-kind HEINZ Ketchup Packet suit jacket.
And for the other lovers out there who want to say “I do” in style, HEINZ will be making a limited number of these iconic packet jackets available via social media. Fans should keep their eyes peeled on the HEINZ IG to find out how to get their hands out there.
HEINZ commissioned Ethan Chan, a Chicago based "Conceptual Condiment Packet Artist" to create the perfect wedding jacket. The custom made HEINZ jacket is made from tape and approximately 1000 Heinz ketchup packets, weighing over 30 pounds!
HEINZ is releasing a limited amount of Packet Jackets to the public! Die-hard fans can follow @Heinz on Instagram to find out more on how they can get their hands on this special edition jacket.
Since he was a kid, Heinz has always dreamed of doing something with Heinz Ketchup. He was nicknamed “Heinz Ketchup” in the 8th Grade, and even talked about co-running a Ketchup Company one day with his best friend. Whenever he meets anyone, he tells them “My name is Heinz, yeah, like the Ketchup.” As soon as he decided to propose to Michelle, Heinz knew this was the chance to finally connect with the Heinz he’s loved his whole life. He asked Michelle to pose with a Heinz bottle in their engagement photo (something she was more than happy to help with), and then sent that to Heinz, along with a Wedding Invite.
