Adelaide's favourite hip hop act, Hilltop Hoods,
has lent its distinctive sound to a new global tourism campaign
promoting South Australia created by KWP! Advertising and Kojo.
The
new South Australian Tourism Commission campaign shines the spotlight
on the close proximity of a diverse mix of unique tourism experiences
located so close to Adelaide.
17 different spots have been
produced, capturing highlights from within the Adelaide CBD and out into
South Australia's stunning regions, from Kangaroo Island to the Eyre
Peninsula, the Adelaide Hills to the Flinders Ranges all set to Hilltop
Hoods' track 'Higher'.

Says Leon Bignell, South Australian minister for tourism: said, "It's very
fitting one of the State's much loved musical acts, the Hilltop Hoods,
have provided the background music and I would like to thank them for
helping us promote SA to the world."
Apart from the musical
involvement of Hilltop Hoods, other well-known local personalities
to make cameo appearances in the ads include chefs Poh Ling Yeow, Andre
Ursini and Lachlan Colwill. The wares of renowned South Australian
fashion designers Paolo Sebastian and Tiff Manuell, along with clothing
icon RM Williams, also feature in the commercials.
Says Tristan Glover, group account director, KWP!: "The campaign is running globally with
spots in international markets designed to get overseas visitors to
start their Australian holiday Adelaide.
"National
television will expose the best of South Australia to interstate
visitors and closer to home, spots will also run in SA to encourage
locals to explore their own backyard."
