Boots make-up brand SEVENTEEN Cosmetics is launching a new winter campaign which highlights the role and versatility of its collection in influencing current and emerging beauty trends.
Created by brand entertainment agency Media Bounty, the campaign launches on October 27with Hit Me Baby Contour Time!, the first in a suite of original video assets which will play out across social channels, supported by programmatic advertising.
A second burst of activity breaks across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram in late November in the run up to Christmas. Media planning is by Chalk Social.
The campaign centres on their influencer partnership with Sabrina, presenter of the Love,Laugh & Makeup YouTube channel, who hosts in depth make-up tutorials filmed in a studio setting featuring SEVENTEEN’s contour and eye palettes, and highlighting the brand’s Christmas promotional offer.
It was commissioned by Laura Grundey, Assistant Brand Manager, Global Cosmetics who said: “Contouring has been a trend for a while now, but few people will know that it was SEVENTEEN that created one of the first drugstore contour palettes. We want to highlight the quality of our range, as well as providing contouring hints and techniques that people may not have seen before.”
