HSI's Rob Chiu Shoots a Sombre Sonata for Craig Armstrong's 'Crash'

‘Crash’ is the long awaited comeback from renowned soundtrack composer Craig Armstrong, in collaboration with Suede singer Brett Anderson. The track is taken from ‘It’s Nearly Tomorrow’, Armstrong’s first studio album in nearly twelve years. This epic and emotional promo directed by Rob Chiu, sets the tone for this momentous release. 

‘Crash’ was shot in Moscow and features four couples, all played by local cast. Rob Chiu’s promo focuses on the themes of love and isolation. 

Rob was thrilled to write and direct a promo for one of his favorite artists: “My first ever student film was set to the music of Craig, as was my first commercial project, so I’m super proud to have worked with the man himself.”
