The leading sustaintech platform has been nominated in the Best Practice in Sustainability UK – Ad Tech Services category for its work in helping L'Oréal UK and Ireland evaluate and reduce its digital ad emissions.
The company – whose innovative solutions help advertisers evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of their digital advertising -- is also included on the international shortlist for the same award for its work in with Heineken in reducing the carbon footprint of its online advertising activities in France, alongside programmatic partner Jellyfish.
Impact Plus’ work with L’Oreal UK and Ireland was also shortlisted in the Best Advertising Solution category at The Wires, an annual awards ceremony run by ExchangeWire that aims to put the spotlight on the most innovative and impactful players in the ad tech industry.
The company is also mentioned in two other nominated entries at the Campaign Ad Net Zero Awards. As well as being named in L’Oreal’s international entry into the Best Practice in Sustainability – Advertiser/Brand category, the pioneering sustaintech platform was also named in Jellyfish’s shortlisted international entry in the Best Practice in Sustainability – Agency category.
In its third year, the Campaign Ad Net Zero awards recognise the trailblazing businesses, organisations, and projects in the advertising industry that are helping to reduce emissions and pave the way to a net zero economy. Run in partnership with Ad Net Zero, the awards celebrate the industry's dedication to a sustainable future and highlight the innovative work being done to address climate change.
Impact Plus CEO and co-founder Vincent Villaret said: “I’m incredibly proud that the important work we do with our clients has been shortlisted at this year’s Wires and Campaign Ad Net Awards. Being nominated is recognition of the tireless passion and dedication the Impact Plus team and our incredible partners have in making the digital ad ecosystem more sustainable.”
The company will now have to wait until November to find out whether they have been successful. The Wires 2024 award winners will be announced on November 7 at an awards ceremony hosted at London venue One Marylebone.
Campaign Ad Net Awards will be announced slightly later, with the winners of the international categories named on the Campaign website on November 20. UK winners will be announced the following day (November 21) at an awards lunch at The Londoner Hotel.
Judging for the Campaign Ad Net Zero Awards was led by Sebastian Munden, chair of Ad Net Zero and Wrap (Waste and Resources Action Programme).
He said, “It’s no surprise that once again there are a lot of high-quality entries, showing demonstrable progress on carbon footprint reduction and promoting more sustainable choices. I’m looking forward to sharing the judges' decisions in November.”
