Iris, the global creative network, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the launch of Iris 25: A Festive Mini-Series, as part of its ongoing Entrepreneurs in the Wild podcast.
Hosted by Iris co-founder and global chair Ian Millner, the mini-series reflects on Iris’ origins, its creative and strategic evolution, and its future direction, offering insights into how the agency has maintained its entrepreneurial spirit and innovative approach over 25 years.
The first episode explores how leadership, culture and the entrepreneurial spirit have powered Iris to become a global force over the course of its 25-year history. The second episode looks at the intersection between creativity and culture in an industry that has experienced a tectonic shift via the emergence of AI. The final episode examines how strategy, planning and Participation have shaped Iris’ story so far, as well as their impact on the wider industry.
Guests include Iris co-founders Ian Millner, Claire Humphris, and Adam Wright, along with a range of key Iris executives such as UK CEO Zoe Eagle, global chief creative officer Menno Kluin, UK executive creative director Katy Hopkins, global chief strategy officer Ben Essen, and senior strategy director Dr. Karen Correia da Silva. Alumni Shaun McIlrath and strategist and renowned author John Grant also contribute, offering their perspectives on the agency’s legacy and influence.
Iris 25 also highlights landmark achievements during Iris' 25 years, including the creation of Wenlock and Mandeville, the 2012 Olympic mascots; creating and launching Cinch; getting Barclays to invest in women’s soccer; winning the Super Clio for the Jeep Super Bowl ad; and building a global network of 1,000 people.
Since its debut earlier this year, Entrepreneurs in the Wild has featured a diverse line-up of guests, from advertising legends to academics, discussing the entrepreneurial qualities that drive creativity and business success. The Iris 25 mini-series continues this approach, reflecting on the agency’s achievements and future aspirations during a pivotal moment in its history.
Ian Millner said, “This podcast series has always been about sharing the experiences and insights of people who embody entrepreneurial thinking. With Iris 25, we’re reflecting on the people, ideas, and decisions that have shaped Iris over the last 25 years and how those same values will guide us in the future.”
The Iris 25 mini-series will be available across all podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, starting on the 13th December.
