Culture-defining production company Fela has produced the latest Kia campaign, out of creative agency Innocean. Directed by Adrian Villagomez, in his first collaboration with Fela, the campaign highlights the K4’s unique features and appeals to a generation aiming to make a statement.
The beautifully crafted spots are filled with dynamic visuals, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and fun. The innovative K4 is portrayed as eye-catching and fresh - with a look, persona, and character all its own. Equipped with wireless features including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plenty of extra space, and various interior hues to choose from, the K4 encourages drivers to be defiantly original. The Gorillaz song 'New Gold,' featuring Tame Impala & Bootie Brown, plays across the campaign’s spots.
Adrian’s raw, docu-style approach, peppered with surreal elements, earned him the Best Alternative Video award at the UKMVAs for Jean-Michel Blais’ 'passepied.' In 2023, he received a special award from the Canadian Academy of Cinema for his outstanding music videos and their international impact. He has worked with artists including The Kid LAROI, Denzel Curry, Killer Mike, and Skiifall, and brands Xbox, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Birks, Aldo, and Audi.
