CP+B LA and Caviar put on a press conference for the basketball legend
CP+B LA has the first piece of creative for NBA 2K18 – the latest edition of the best-selling video game franchise launching this fall. The spot, directed by Neal Brennan (“Chappelle's Show” co-creator), has Shaquille O’Neal introducing his NBA 2K18 Legend Edition cover to the world. But things don’t go quite as planned when his old teammate, Kobe Bryant literally re-writes the script.
This is the latest in a long line of work from the agency for NBA 2K. CP+B LA has launched the yearly editions since 2015, continually breaking franchise and industry sales records – NBA 2K17 shipped more than 4.5 million in the first week. Earlier this year, NBA 2K, Fitbit and CP+B LA also launched a program allowing gamers to boost their virtual player’s abilities with daily exercise.
