In a bold move to highlight its long-standing 'Choose Happy' brand platform and celebrate the recent launch of its new home internet service, Koodo has teamed up with Camp Jefferson to transform a Montreal house into a striking billboard. Following a successful display in downtown Toronto, this activation showcases Koodo’s refreshed colour palette while reinforcing the brand’s joyful identity.
“Our goal with this activation extends beyond simply promoting Koodo’s new home internet service,” said Ashley Babcock, associate creative director at Camp Jefferson. “We went beyond the standard billboard placement to create a memorable experience that leaves a lasting impact. It’s exciting to do something that makes people stop, smile and actively engage with the ad, turning a passive encounter into an interactive moment.”
The initiative features the house’s vibrant makeover and a yard sign, attributing this cheerful transformation to Koodo’s affordable and reliable home internet services. A video showcases the before-and-after look of the Toronto house and promotes Koodo Internet.
“Happiness is at the core of our brand,” said Lise Doucet, director marketing communications at Koodo. “We aim to spread joy and connect people to a happier home internet experience. The Koodo Residential Billboard activation perfectly encapsulates our philosophy, offering a clever and engaging way to promote our services beyond traditional advertising.”
The Toronto stunt, located across from Trinity Bellwoods Park, ran from May 29th to June 19th. Meanwhile, the Montreal activation, located at 2092 Atateken Street and created with sister agencies K72 and Septieme, both part of the Plus Company network, will continue until July 7th. The activation will be amplified through paid social media content on YouTube, Meta and TikTok.
