Coopers, Australia’s largest family owned brewery, has unveiled a first-of-its-kind, handcrafted billboard to promote their dark brew, Coopers Dark Ale. Like R-Patz, the boys from True Blood and, of course, Angel from Buffy, the board comes to life after sundown and is awfully sexy.
Designed and executed by kwp! Advertising Adelaide, the billboard stays true to Coopers Dark Ale’s brand positioning ‘life after dark’. The billboard appears as a blank canvas during day, but when the sun goes down it transforms after dark to reveal an eclectic mural packed with nightlife-inspired imagery.
The campaign has been designed to embody the craftsmanship associated with the Coopers Dark Ale brand. Just as the beer is handcrafted using the finest ingredients, the Life After Dark bespoke billboard has been created by world-renowned, Chicago-based street artist and illustrator, Pose (MSK) at a secret location in Adelaide. Pose used luminous UV paint to create a collection of images celebrating the creative characters that come together at night.
