Ananas Anam, known for creating the sustainable leather alternative Piñatex and winning the Cannes Lions Business Transformation Grand Prix 2022 with Dole Sunshine Company, launches a new visual identity. The minimalistic and thoughtful animated film, created by L&C New York and animation studio Zeppelin, makes us reflect about our choices, emphasising that nature needs us to start making choices on behalf of it. The driving forces behind the new identity are people and nature. People and nature united, working together, fulfilling the vision of the company.
Dr. Carmen Hijosa founder and chief creative innovation officer at Ananas Anam, said: “Climate change is an ethical crisis; it is the reflection and consequence of how we treat life on the planet. This crisis is creating a shift between people and planet. We must reconcile ethics with sustainability as one and indissociable.
"Reflecting on the statement above, we are introducing a new visual identity which represents and shares Ananas Anam’s vision, values, and impact. Our new symbol is a bird’s eye view representation of two people working and thinking together with open arms, to create as one, becoming greater than the whole.”
