Inspired by real-life stories from the LinkedIn community, the brand campaign from DDB Sydney demonstrates how small acts can make a big difference
LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, has launched its latest brand campaign that showcases how progress starts with a small step and support from your community can help you move forward.
Inspired by real-life stories from the LinkedIn community, the brand campaign demonstrates how small acts can make a big difference - whether it’s finding a new job by signalling you are #OpenToWork on your LinkedIn profile, reaching out to connect with others to expand your network or sharing your thoughts through LinkedIn Live videos to help others in the community.
“The current uncertainty has taken a toll on the emotional well-being of people, many of whom feel stuck and overwhelmed about their career. Taking a small action each day and activating your community can help you progress. We hope the campaign encourages more people to reach out to their community and take that first step”, said Shiva Kumar, head of brand marketing and communications, LinkedIn Australia and New Zealand.
LinkedIn has also recently launched a new interactive tool called Career Explorer to help people find jobs that match their skills. Using LinkedIn data, job seekers can see how their skills can lead them to new career opportunities, what additional skills they may need, along with LinkedIn Learning courses that can help fill those gaps.
LinkedIn’s brand campaign will go live on BVOD, social, and digital channels. It will also be promoted across LinkedIn’s official channels on LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook.
