Today, independent, full-service marketing agency, Luquire, announces it has named Adam Levine as its first-ever chief marketing officer. The move is the latest step in a period of growth and reinvention for the agency, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Adam’s arrival follows Stephanie Spicer (president) and Glen Hilzinger’s (CCO) recent elevation to partner, as well as a future-forward restructuring of the agency that unites and further integrates Luquire’s content and public relations disciplines, under recently promoted sr. director of communications, Christina Rogers.
The announcement takes place as Luquire reaches a key point of growth, breaking records in 2023, with a 39% increase in revenue that was driven by both new business wins and organic growth across all lines of business. Adam, who has held key roles at Terri & Sandy, McKinney and Deutsch NY, will work with Luquire’s executive leadership team to drive the agency towards business-building successes, capitalising on the agency’s recent momentum. He will report to Luquire’s CEO, Brooks Luquire.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Adam to the Luquire team at a pivotal time for the agency. After 40 years in the industry, we have a start up mentality and hunger to continue to grow,” said Brooks Luquire, CEO at Luquire. “Adam has a proven track record of driving consistent brand narratives for some of the industry’s favourite agencies. I have no doubt that his skills will showcase Luquire and our work as an industry powerhouse, ensuring our story and marketing efforts reflect our heritage and values while relevant to culture and shifts.”
Adam brings decades of experience to Luquire, most recently serving as new business consultant at Terri & Sandy. Prior to that, he held roles of chief marketing officer at McKinney, and EVP, brand director at Deutsch NY, to name a few. He has also worked on brands as varied as Revlon, Snapple, Microsoft, Zoloft and IKEA.
“Luquire is in a phase of reinvention and evolution, and I am truly excited to help tell its story to brand marketers who are hungry for smart, impactful work,” said Adam. “After 40 years, it's still an agency looking very much to the future, and I can’t wait for the world to see what we have planned next."
Adam begins in his new role effective immediately.
