Global water leader Ecolab has teamed up with m ss ng p eces and Ogilvy to create a one-of-a-kind exhibit in Bryant Park during Climate Week NYC to encourage reflection on water usage and its significance in our daily lives. Because when it comes to water, Every Drop Counts.
The hard reality is that more than 2 billion people lack access to clean drinking water. And we’re on track to seeing a 56% water deficit by 2030, if nothing changes.
“The worsening global water crisis is a complex challenge that requires cross-sector collaboration and investments in new innovative solutions,” says Calvin Emanuel, vice president, sustainable growth at Ecolab. “We hope this installation brings needed attention to this critical issue during Climate Week NYC. And that by raising awareness we can help ensure a more water-secure future for generations to come.”
“We’re excited to bring such a unique and immersive exhibit to New York City that unveils how much water is really used in everyday items,” says Victoria Whitney, vice president of global communications at Ecolab. “This activation is a thought-provoking way to show that when it comes to the water crisis, it will take all of us – consumers and businesses alike – to help advance solutions and make Every Drop Count.”
