Meet Grant: The Only Person Designed to Survive a Career in Advertising

Leading independent Australian advertising agency Cummins & Partners, in association with The Melbourne Advertising and Design Club has created a tribute film to the much lauded and heavily awarded ‘Meet Graham’ campaign to promote a local award show. ‘Meet Grant: The Only Person Designed to Survive a Career in Advertising’ draws attention to the many strains and stresses of this unforgiving industry.

The film bears an uncanny resemblance to the world’s most decorated campaign of 2017, with a somewhat more attractive, yet not entirely attractive interactive model, featuring physical attributes such as ‘a removable spine for client meetings’ and ‘ears which filter out conflicting opinions’.

This film proves once and for all that there is no substitute for an original thought... except parodying someone else.
