Mr. President has launched a comms campaign for US-based service provider Verizon which sees the brand bring to market a first-of-its-kind AR mobile game.
Using cutting-edge technology ASSET 15 is an augmented reality (AR) thriller for mobile devices. It was created in partnership with digital content studio 30 Ninja’s, the company co-run by director-producer Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith).
ASSET 15 is a sci-fi thriller starring Amandla Stenberg from The Hunger Games and Myha’la Herrold from Industry. Once players download the game onto mobile or iPad, these characters come to life as room-scale AR holograms. The plot centres around two sisters, Flux and Petra, whose lives are changed when Petra falls into a coma.
The game uses interactive volumetric video, room-scale AR gamification and 3D animation technology.
ASSET 15 is produced by 30 Ninja's and promotes Verizon's extensive 5G coverage. The game is executive produced by Julina Tatlock, Jed Weintrob and Doug Liman, and produced by Tony Hernandez. ASSET 15 is developed in association with France-based studio, Novelab. Volumetric holograms are produced by Metastage.
The comms campaign was by Mr. President and the creative team was Zooperheiss (James Cooper and Flo Heiss).
