YouTube Music and Ogilvy Mexico revolutionise the senses to perceive music from a different angle, through the eyes. With an original and unique idea, YouTube Music invites public and music fans to find unique content in YouTube Music Museum.
The idea was born while discovering that on YouTube Music there are unreleased and exclusive songs and versions that do not exist on any other musical platform. That powerful insight led to wanting to place all these musical jewels in a museum that not only allows us to discover those pieces, but also, live them through art. With the collaboration of 10 mexican artists and illustrators such as Mike Sandoval, Maremoto, Juan Nares, Snk Hds, Roco Drilo, Ana Chavana, Mónica Loya, Diego Andrade, News and Dozer Girl, there are artistic works that capture each musical piece with an original and unrepeatable way.
Regarding this memorable project, Alejandro Junco, creative director for Ogilvy Mexico commented, "If music is the food of the soul, our museum is a buffet with unpublished dishes that you have never tasted" and Diego Rodríguez, creative VP for Ogilvy Mexico stated, "While some people prefer to look at other streaming platforms, we bet on the largest and most diverse catalogue of music that exists today in the market, that's why we dedicated ourselves to creating an interactive art gallery to expand our own horizons and interact with those we like the most in a way that you did not know or will not be able to interact on other platforms. Come and see #MuseoYouTubeMusic."
Pit Castro, YouTube Music product marketing manager for Hispanic America said, "We have seen that on the platform there is a lot of musical content that is difficult to find elsewhere, so we took on the task of locating treasures that fans probably did not know existed and to share them with everyone. With this museum we want the YouTube community to explore music in a different way and bring new generations closer to rhythms of the past, and thus discover the similarities with their favourite artists of the present."
The museum will have collectibles, memorabilia, and unpublished pieces that the public will be able to appreciate for only on this occasion.
Julian Torres, CGO for Ogilvy Mexico highlighted, "For us it is a pride to be part of this great idea. Collaborating with a great partner like YouTube Music shows the impact that powerful ideas can have by contributing to our clients' business and generating a direct effect on the consumer" for her part, Jessica Moreno, business leader for Ogilvy Mexico said, "Music Museum by YouTube Music is an exploration of the world through music, it’s communication that connects in a human and emotional way with audiences."
YouTube Music Museum will be an immersive experience in which with a cellular phone and headphones, visitors can vibrate with different musical rhythms, evoke emotions, and merge the beauty of art with the magic of music.
The YouTube Music Museum will be open from September 29th to October 8th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with free admission by pre-registering here and downloading the YouTube Music application.
