My Accomplice Captures Qatar's Triumph Lead up to 2022 FIFA World Cup
Director Marv Jay Alvarez's latest film sees the announcement of the two year countdown to the FIFA World Cup.
Marv said of the project: "It's been a real cocktail of team members from all over the world working tirelessly to stitch together the whole project. The meetings between MA and the wider teams were quite easily the biggest Zoom calls I've ever been on AND we had to get approval from royalty!
"In telling this short story of Qatar's triumph we wanted to instill hope in our viewers (particularly during these times) and make them feel nostalgic about the future.
"Between myself and the creatives Max & Cosmo, we shared endless World Cup memories of yesteryears to take inspiration from.
Moments from teams and individuals who believed. In parallel to the footballing moments was Qatar's journey of how their collective belief led to their World Cup triumph so far. A small population pulling together with others to bring us a spectacular event against all odds - so that we can create new football memories that live forever.
