NFL fans know their favourite plays are amazing. But with next-generation stats powered by Amazon Web Services (aka AWS, provider of cloud computing platforms from Amazon.com), football fans now get concrete, data-driven proof of just how unlikely those highlight plays are.
In the new :30 spot, airing nationally and online from Seattle-based creative agency Little Hands of Stone, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson recaps one of his many standout plays from the 2019 season - live from the sideline of the field.
Deshaun narrates the play, explaining to fans the next-gen stats behind the play and showing how his insane performance only gets crazier when you see that data behind it. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, AWS gives NFL fans a deeper, more visual understanding of their favourite plays with next gen stats including player speed, scramble distance, throw distance, receiver separation, and catch probability.
