Nice Biscuits has welcomed its new producer Carl Grinter, who will be spearheading Nice Biscuits' business development as it continues its expansion.
Commenting on Carl’s arrival, Nice Biscuits owner Russ Shaw says: "I’ve known Carl for over 15 years and know that his commitment, enthusiasm and energy have literally shown no bounds. The whole team is absolutely delighted he’s decided to join our production department and with more exciting hires in the offing it’s a very exciting time for Nice Biscuits, so it’s good to know Carl will be actively involved in joining us to shape our future growth and direction.”
Carl brings with him a vast knowledge of visual effects and post production, having spent over 25 years in the industry.
Always an innovator, Carl co-founded digital special effects and design company, Gaul Bryers, in the early '90s. He then went on to spearhead the rapid growth of Red Post Production as the firm’s Managing Director, before joining Rushes Post Production in 2003.
At Rushes, Carl first served as Director of Production and New Business, before becoming Commercial Director. He was integral to the evolution of the company’s offering as the rise of digital, TV and the internet quickly changed the media landscape.
Discussing why he has now joined the Nice Biscuits team, two years on, Carl comments: “Nice Biscuits are my friends. We have been working together extensively over the last two years and collaborating with each other to find intuitive ways of producing high quality work with a real and very personal service mentality. We place cost efficiency and flexibility at the heart of our creative work processes. Our partnership brings together extensive experience of film production, animation, visual effects, design and motion graphics, interactive development and VR and AR specialisms all under one roof. This is alongside the expanding creative talent pool, super-efficient pipeline and highest-spec technical resources that have been the hallmark of the Nice Biscuits experience to date.”
