Niclas Bergman has signed to its roster of directors.
Niclas Bergman, a director who blurs the line between director and creative director, is renowned for his approach to visual branding and widely recognised for his success in the automotive industry.
Describing himself as a classically trained filmmaker, Niclas’ work is striking, affecting and powerful - the result of his meticulous approach to pre-visualisation and learning each client inside and out.
Niclas has garnered widespread acclaim for distilling stories of automotive innovation into bite size pieces of artistry on screen, creating standout campaigns for companies including Volvo and Polestar.
His signing will accelerate Annex’s work in the sector even further, following the production house’s recent success in producing the 2023 Jaguar Land Rover Defender World Cup campaign.
Niclas Bergman, director, said, “When I meet my clients, I always ask a bunch of questions. I really want to figure out what they are trying to achieve. Then it’s time to create a visual language, specific for the client, that everyone will 1) understand and then 2) recognise. It’s all about visual branding. My goal is to always tell a convincing story. This is how you truly reach out with a message. I would even go as far as saying it’s the only way, at least in my view.”
