No Fixed Address Inc. (NFA) has named Zach Klein, formerly EVP and head of strategy, as its chief strategy officer (CSO).
In his role as CSO, Zach will continue to lead NFA's strategy department, which focuses on blurring the lines between the art of brand strategy and the science of experience planning - two disciplines that have historically been separated at creative agencies.
"A brand is only as strong as how people experience it, but historically, agencies have not been great at connecting the dots between brand and experience,” said Zach. “The two have to work hand-in-hand if we want to unlock greatness for our clients."
Zach and his strategy team have led some of NFA’s most influential and buzzworthy campaigns, including Field Roast’s 'Brat Summer,' CREA’s 'Together We’ll Make Home Happen,' and Greenfield’s 'Bacon is Rain.' These campaigns embody Zach’s emphasis on 'riding cultural currents' to create timely and timeless brands.
A long time leader at NFA, Zach has also been instrumental in shaping the agency’s corporate ethos since its inception in 2016. His strategic vision has defined NFA’s positioning as a creative growth engine for challenger brands. Under his leadership, the agency has embraced and taken on a bold mission of uncovering growth for clients in unexplored places, which has led to a new business streak for the agency.
In the past year, NFA has achieved record growth, winning 10 new accounts across North America, including Clarios, Lightlife, Field Roast, KUIU, Liquid Oxygen, Seeking.com, and Wilde Brands. Zach’s strategic leadership has also strengthened NFA’s AOR relationships with longstanding clients like Questrade, CREA, and Maple Leaf Foods, cementing his role as a trusted growth partner among clients and within the agency.
“Zach's approach to strategy is a combo of hearts and smarts - always in service of creativity and connection to people and the world. It has been truly transformational for our clients and our own NFA brand,” said Priyanka Goswami, president of NFA. “He is a driver of culture, a beacon for talent and a catalyst for growth - all things we value at NFA and need in our CSO.”
