Odelay Films Signs Director Jennifer Sheridan

Odelay Films, the B Corp accredited production company, announces the arrival of Jennifer Sheridan to its roster in both the UK and the USA. As a renowned BAFTA nominated comedy director Jennifer is the perfect addition to their developing roster. 

Odelay has long admired Jennifer's formidable track record in the comedy arena, so they are delighted to be showcasing her work and talent. The team continues to be committed to championing diverse talent while seeking directors from a broad spectrum of specialisms and Jennifer fits perfectly within their mission. 

Growing up in South London, Jennifer cultivated her love for film at the BRIT School in Croydon. After entering the industry using her self taught editing skills she ultimately became a respected scripted comedy editor with credits that include 'Cuckoo' and 'The League Of Gentlemen'. Jennifer’s passion for film is evident throughout her work and this led her towards directing seeing her win the prestigious Virgin Media Award for her debut short film ‘Rocket’. Her first feature horror 'Rose: A Love Story,' premiered during lockdown at the 2020 BFI London Film Festival and garnered several award nominations, including a BIFA. 

Since then, she has successfully transitioned into television and most recently directed the multi-award-winning series 'Extraordinary' for Disney+ and Hulu. Series two of the hit series was recently nominated for Best Comedy at the Edinburgh TV Awards and has also been nominated for three BAFTAS, won an RTS and a Broadcast Digital Award - for best scripted comedy.

Alongside her TV work Jennifer has notched up an impressive list of commercial clients that include spots for Bose, Haig club Whiskey featuring David Beckham, Sky, Maggies, and Money Box.
