2024 marks Old Navy’s 30th anniversary year, and the brand is launching this year’s first TV campaign with a bit of nostalgia. The Spring commercial, created by The Martin Agency, takes a little trip down memory lane with nods to the brand’s heritage, including the iconic Magic the Dog (the brand's 1995 spokes), as well as the re-imagination of a Parisian-style café called Old Navy (fun fact: Old Navy was named after a café and bar in Paris of the same name), featuring café chairs in classic navy and white and scripted 'Old Navy' signage inspired by the original café, and more.
The collection nods to French girl femininity, and the brand took the original café’s essence, recreated its own version, and crafted the entire campaign around it. The campaign highlights the moment of debuting a fresh Spring outfit when the weather finally turns and stepping out with confident vibes that spark ‘magic’.
