Panamericana Pictures, a Latina-BIPOC owned production and management company based in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Bogota, has shared the second incarnation of the Creators of West Hollywood, a branded content series for West Hollywood Tourism.
Creators of West Hollywood aims to raise destination awareness and drive economic impact as the city recovers from the devastating effects of the global pandemic. Tapping into its reputation as 'The Creative City,' Creators of West Hollywood is a destination marketing campaign that invites the world to re-discover the city’s unmistakable vibe through the lens of innovative leaders in dining, nightlife, design, fitness, and shopping. Panamericana carefully selected and cast unique personalities who love the city, have a unique story to tell, and either live, work, or have been inspired by West Hollywood. Building on the success of last year’s series, four new individuals were added to the Creators series; nightlife impresario and The h.wood Group co-founder John Terzian, photographer and co-founder of The Morrison Gallery Timothy White, architect Gulla Jonsdottir, and founder and CEO of JJLA Jeff Consoletti.
Directed by Panamericana Pictures founder/CEO Eva Ruiz De Chávez, the content series employs a mixed-media approach incorporating stills, 8MM and digital. “The social fabric of West Hollywood is its creators,” she says. “For me, making these documentaries was the most organic way to relate my passions and interests with each of these characters, all of whom, like me, are exploring the new Hollywood.”
Creators of West Hollywood will run on paid digital and OOH. The series will also run on local broadcast in DMA markets.
