Pandora and Spider-Man Celebrate Marvel Universe Collaboration at Times Square in New York

Celebrating its newest instalment in the collaboration between Pandora and MARVEL, the world’s largest jewellery brand has taken to Times Square with iconic Marvel hero Spider-Man. In the immersive and playful 3D billboard, the friendly neighbourhood hero captures Pandora’s newest collection of charms in his web, as they dangle over the hero’s hometown. 

The immersive DOOH activation was created in collaboration with digital creative company Media.Monks and is part of Pandora’s wider collaboration with MARVEL. The billboard is part of a wider digital campaign promoting Pandora’s new MARVEL collection. 

Joanne Crawford, global vice president owned digital and orchestration at Pandora says:  “It’s been amazing to spotlight this newest addition to the Pandora x MARVEL collection in a location that’s pivotal to Spider-Man and the MARVEL Universe: New York Times Square. In our 360 marketing approach this billboard is the beating heart and stage for our charms who act as heroes in our advertisement. With our 3D billboard we are bringing this immersive experience to passers-by but also to our wider audience around the globe: via our social platforms, influencers and paid integration.”

Vincent Quak, creative director at Media.Monks, adds: “To give space to such an icon as Spider-Man, on a location that is central to the hero’s hometown is fantastic. We wanted to integrate the playful nature of the character and the collection in the 3D billboard. Once again, Spidey saves the day and keeps a watchful eye over New York City.” 

The MARVEL’s Spider-Man charm collection is the second collection that the jewellery brand has launched in collaboration with MARVEL. It is added to the existing collection that celebrates MARVEL’s Avengers icons and legends. The current MARVEL Spider-Man collection will be available worldwide, in shops and online.
