Pepsi MAX has released a new cinematic-worthy advert from AMV BBDO with Paul Rudd and Michael Peña starring as astronauts who demonstrate the great lengths they’ll go for a Pepsi MAX.
As the two astronauts prepare for a rocket launch and run through their pre-flight checklist, they realise they have forgotten critical cargo: Pepsi MAX. What ensues in the new creative is a hilarious race against the clock, as the astronauts try to get their hands on the delicious cola before blast-off.
“It was a total blast, pun intended, to don the Pepsi MAX space suit and film this epic space shoot,” said Rudd. “To be able to do it with the hilarious Michael Peña made it an ‘out of this world’ experience.”
“I always have an awesome time working with Paul and this was such a fun piece to shoot,” said Peña. “We had a blast on set with Pepsi MAX and I hope people enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
'No Can Left Behind' was directed by Academy Award nominated director, screenwriter and actor Taika Waititi, known for his work in both the super hero and comedy genres.
Under the newly introduced international tagline and brand platform – FOR THE LOVE OF IT, Pepsi MAX is encouraging people to go all in for the things they love, from football and music to epic entertainment, with Pepsi MAX at the heart of it all.
