Director Ulf Johansson teams with DDB Chicago to promote the brand's newest innovation with a bit of humour

Eight months after the debut of the highly awarded and talked about TWIX 'Camping (Bears)' spot, DDB Chicago has tapped another group of humour-inducing animals to help promote its newest innovation: TWIX Cookie Dough. 

Following a decade of the 'Left TWIX' vs 'Right TWIX' debate, TWIX is now posing a new question, inspired by TWIX’s cookie dough flavours: what came first, the cookie or the cookie dough?

In the brand’s new spot, titled Philosophical Chickens, TWIX employs a couple of intellectual chickens to wrestle with the age-old conundrum, continuing its streak of impeccably timed comedic storytelling, and doubling down on the attributes that make TWIX unreasonably delicious.

Together with DDB Chicago, TWIX worked with Ulf Johansson, one of the most awarded commercial directors in the world, to bring this spot to life. In addition to his many notable accolades, his work is also on display at MOMA, he’s been credited with two Grand Prix’s at Cannes Lions and has been nominated for an Emmy.
