Palma Pictures has welcomed Pilar Amer-Fuster to its Mallorca HQ, after she spent the last three years at Netflix.
Pilar brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in Film and TV Production Management and is a familiar face for the team, having previously worked on projects such as The Night Manager and The Mallorca Files Seasons One and Two as a freelancer.
Pilar shared that, “For me, joining Palma as the full-time deputy head of production is like coming back home and I always knew I’d come home! It’s exciting to see the same values and some of the same great people still at the company after all this time, but also to see how it has evolved to become a better version (if possible!) of itself over the years.”
“I’m excited to work again with Mike Day’s unique vision of the business; he’s put together a fantastic team and I’m beyond happy to be able to bring my personal experience and knowledge to the table. I’m also grateful to be able to join the team at a time when Goya winning producer, Yousaf Bokhari, is leading it and so I will still be able to learn from a professional with such a breadth of expertise!
“I will be dedicated to bringing the team together to the next level and incorporate my knowhow to it, with my fresh views of the national and international side of the business. I want to help drive the Film and TV team to absolute success, producing the fabulous movies and series that we have the privilege of collaborating on.”
Mike Day, Palma Pictures CEO, commented that, “We are delighted to have Pilar back with us after her time spent at Netflix over the past few years. She is an outstanding professional and truly reflects the spirit and culture of Palma Pictures. We know that she will excel in the role of Deputy Head of Production - Film & TV and we’re looking forward to all that we will accomplish together.”
Welcome to the team, Pilar!
