FootJoy, the No.one shoe in golf and footwear of choice on professional Tours around the world, is launching a new spot as part of its ongoing 'Feel the Joy' global brand platform. 'Joy Ride,' created in partnership with Portland-based independent agency Opinionated, features six-time PGA Tour winner and the 10th ranked player in the world, Max Homa, as he experiences the pure joy of unleashing a perfect tee shot in his new Pro/SLX shoes from FootJoy.
Onlookers Davis Riley, 3x NCAA All American, Wyndham Clark, 2023 US Open and 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM champion, and Danielle Kang, six-time LPGA winner, can relate - gazing up at Max as he takes flight with his perfect drive and new comfy shoes. The spot is appropriately soundtracked by the breezy ‘70s classic, 'I’m Not in Love,' by 10cc, and was directed by Randy Krallman of Smuggler.
The light-hearted 'Joy Ride' follows FootJoy’s cinematic Spaghetti Western-style campaign, 'Pin Hunters,' which debuted globally at the Waste Management Open in February. The new work debuts on broadcast this week during the Valero Texas Open on NBC and The Golf Channel, and will continue to run across broadcast, social and digital platforms including Peacock, YouTube and more.
