Campaign supported by SięPomaga Foundation and leading media partners raises funds for the cities hardest hit by the recent flooding

Publicis Groupe Poland, in collaboration with various agencies, has launched the 'After the Flood' charity campaign to raise funds for the cities hardest hit by the recent flooding caused by Storm Boris. These cities include Nysa, Lewin Brzeski, Prudnik, Strzeleczki, Czechowice-Dziedzice, Ustroń, Pszczyna, and Krzyżanowice. The campaign aims to support the residents in rebuilding their lives and communities.

“Everyone stepped up to provide immediate assistance, but we understand how hard it is to maintain the same level of commitment over time. Support will be needed for many months. That’s why we designed an initiative to sustain attention and offer long-term help. Our goal is to inspire and motivate people even beyond this peak moment of social mobilisation by telling the moving stories of those affected,” said Hanna Jackowska, general manager of Leo Burnett Warsaw.

Publicis Groupe agencies - Leo Burnett Warsaw and Publicis Worldwide - are leading the development of the multi-channel charity campaign. Spark Foundry and PMX are overseeing media services, Prodigious is managing production, and MSL agency is handling PR communication.

The campaign spans multiple platforms, including TV, social media, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, content for media outlets, digital assets for retail, and a website that redirects users to a dedicated donation page here. People can choose which city they want to support, making the campaign both more personal and impactful. Additionally, the siepomaga.pl platform has waived all commission fees, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to those in need.

“We know that the tragedy affecting these communities will soon fade from the headlines, but the struggle on the ground continues. At times like these, we can show how the combined expertise of marketing, technology, and communication professionals can make a real difference. Our campaign is designed to keep the needs of these communities in focus, encouraging ongoing support. A huge thanks to our agencies, the SięPomaga Foundation, and all our media and retail partners who have joined us. Together, we are truly making a difference,” said Piotr Piętka, CEO of Publicis Groupe in Poland, the Baltics, and Ukraine.

The campaign has received strong backing from Poland’s top media outlets. Advertising space and airtime have been donated by prominent online publishers, including Agora, Bauer, Burda, Filmweb, Infor, Listonic, Polityka, Puls Biznesu, RASP, Teads, TVN, Wirtualna Polska, and ZPR; TV networks like TVN (Warner Bros Discovery) and Polsat; and OOH media companies such as AMS, Clear Channel, IMS, Urban Media, Screen Network, Stroer, and Synergic. Retailers like Empik, Leroy Merlin, Otodom, and TikTok have also offered support.

All campaign activities will run through the end of November.

The campaign draws on a high-profile initiative from 1997, which featured a striking 'HELP' poster designed by Michal Bobrowski, then art director at Leo Burnett. For this campaign, Michal created a unique alphabet used in the designs that feature the names of the affected localities. The video formats include voiceover narration by Łukasz Talik.
