Radio LBB: Celebrating the Tracks & Fields Culture Partnership

To celebrate Tracks & Fields Culture division and partnership with COLORS the team would love to share some of their favourite COLORS shows, as well as songs they feel are perfect for sync.

Team’s Favourite Shows

Comum - ÀVUÀ by Jade Miranda

Two of my favourite voices of today’s Brazilian music and the song is an incredibly beautiful love song. I also really like their outfit and makeup choices. For me, this is a perfect show and you can see they put a lot of thought and love on the performance but also on the creative direction for it. I cry every time.

Jeje - Babyboy AV by Paula Bruch

I really love the authenticity and creative character of this artist. This performance showed off his wonderful, calming voice. The song has an overwhelmingly chill vibe, carrying the listener slowly up to the stars, whilst at the same time filling you with the desire to get up and groove.

Us - FKJ by Damian Charles, Dario Galano, Yujing Ju

We all agree that FKJ is one of the most creative and expressive artists on the scene today. This spacy, playful and above all meditative rendition of ‘Us’ is exactly characteristic of that signature we have come to love hearing from him over the years.

Vegas - Shaboozey by Christian Mix-Linzer

Shaboozey is one of the most exciting artists to watch, helping boost the popularity of Country around the world while bringing a completely different approach to the genre, moving forward from it. While I am not a big Country fan I find his sound so unique and refreshing. I love this performance of Vegas and it also shows COLORS curation ability, having him on the show before he became mainstream.

Offering - Gabriels by Donata Stosyk Kornatowicz

Alongside Jacob’s outstanding range and vocal performance, this trio sounds hypnotic and whatever-you’re-doing-stopping. This happens to me extremely rarely as I listen to hundreds of songs daily. In this case I dropped everything and was immersed in pure enjoyment of the music adventure Gabriels took me on. I will for sure be tracking Gabriels’ career and rooting for them big time!

Team Synch Recommendations

Thee Sacred Souls - Live For You

Not the typical swagger from a genre perspective, but this song's lyrics about perseverance and self-love tell it all. By capturing a timeless sound with a positive message this track is both nostalgic and revitalizing.

Yuna - Glory

This love song with positive lyrics, longing connection and showing support combines Yuna airy vocals with a dramatic and epic production. Due to its both delicate yet powerful characters this song can be a great sync to support a love story.

October London - 3rd Shift

A rising star from Snoop Dogg’s Label Death Row Records, October London combines modern R’n’B and old school Soul into a heartwarming song that is a perfect sync. His voice is characterized by unique talent and offers a very wide range, which spreads the singular character especially in the high notes.

Moonchild Sanelly - Sweet & Savage

From a first listen maybe one might think that a bisexual anthem is not the most syncable track (especially for a typical commercial), but the infectious beat and drum and bass influenced song combined with Moonchild's unique playful vocals is so addictive and interesting that we think it would be a great sync.

Jacob Collier - Little Blue

One of the most talented artists of today’s time created such a beautiful song: Little Blue gives you a sense of security and the universal feeling that everything will be alright. At first glance not the typical sync song, but it unfolds its power in its unique composition both on lyrical and instrumental level, which could translate and emphasise emotions of a story and elevate a campaign.
