Lean Cuisine has launched its newest creative platform and ad campaign, titled ‘You Have Good Taste,’ featuring acclaimed actress and producer Regina Hall.
This is the first new ad campaign in four years for Lean Cuisine, centring around a grocery store where real shoppers pick up a Lean Cuisine and unexpectedly receive a cheering boost of positivity from 'inside the freezer.'
One of the biggest hurdles of weight management is the negative self-talk going through our own head. In the campaign, acclaimed actress and producer Regina Hall is a hype woman, pumping up shoppers for their healthy selections as they open the door of the grocery store freezer section to select a Lean Cuisine.
Regina Hall was chosen as the voice of Lean Cuisine’s campaign thanks to her point of view on body positivity, humour, engaging presence and iconic roles in movies and TV shows.
The new campaign represents a substantial investment for Lean Cuisine and we're exploring various channels to get our message effectively in front of consumers.
Lean Cuisine has been a partner in people’s weight management for over 40 years and we want them to know we have their back, with positivity and delicious meals that maximise success.
'You Have Good Taste' for Nestle’s Lean Cuisine was created by VML New York. The campaign is set to go live in March 2024 and features TV, social and digital.
Lean Cuisine is dedicated to supporting and motivating our customers to make great choices, no matter their life stage or where they are at on their weight management journey. This campaign aims to connect with multiple demographics, including gen z, ensuring our message aligns with combating negative self-talk.
“Lean Cuisine has been a partner in people’s weight management for over 40 years and we want them to know we have their back, with positivity and delicious meals that maximise success,” said Jenn Barnes, VP marketing. “The look and tone of our campaign is joyful - celebrating our meals as ‘flavourful not calorie-full’ and our steadfast belief that you can love what you’re eating and still achieve your goals.”
