Regional Jury Sessions at The Immortal Awards 2023 Culminate with Asia Jury Selecting 2 Finalists

The pair of projects complete the global shortlist ahead of the final round of judging at the global advertising award from Little Black Book

The final regional jury day of The Immortal Awards 2023 wrapped up on Friday, 24th November as the Asia jury selected this year’s Finalists.

The session was the first in which an exclusively Asian jury would be selecting work that would qualify directly for the final, global round of judging.

In previous years the Asian work would go up against the best projects from Australia and New Zealand at a regional APAC jury day. However, this year the decision was made to separate ANZ from the rest of Asia to create two new regional sessions (ANZ and Asia).

A shortlist of 17 projects, which was composed of the 15 highest scoring pieces in the online round of judging and the two Indian Finalists, was reduced to just two.

Those two projects will now progress as Asia Finalists to the final round of judging, in which they will compete against the Finalists from the other five regional jury sessions.

The Immortal Awards 2023 Asia Finalists are:

Airtel - Replayed 175 (submitted by Leo Burnett India)

Heineken Silver - Heinekicks (submitted by Le Pub Singapore)


The two projects now have a chance of winning an Immortal Award or picking up a Commendation at the global jury day on Thursday, December 7th. They will be joined by the seven Europe Finalists, six MEA Finalists, three North America Finalists, six LATAM Finalists, as well as the eight Finalists from the ANZ jury session. Those on this year’s Asia jury were:Peter Grasse, founder and producer at Mr+Positive; Natalie Lam, chief creative officer at Publicis Groupe Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa; Alan Leong, brand creative lead at TikTok Singapore; Lulu Lu, chief creative officer at Wunderman Thompson Taipei; Valerie Madon, chief creative officer at McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific; Mukund Olety, chief creative officer at VMLY&R India; Josy Paul, chairman and chief creative officer at BBDO India; and Ewan Yap, group creative director at TBWA\Media Arts Lab Shanghai.
