This Norwegian car insurance company made a remote controlled parking pillar – ready to ambush unsuspecting drivers.

Parking garages can be a nightmare - something a Norwegian car insurance company decided to dial up by making it just that little bit worse. When DNB (The Norwegian Bank) wanted to tell people about their new car insurance offer, they decided to rather just show you why you might need it. 

They teamed with Oslo-based agency TRY to design a custom remote-controlled parking pillar, constructed to blend in perfectly in a busy parking garage.

In the film documenting the events unfolding, no car is safe. When the pillar first comes to life, you're almost expecting the cue for the Jaws theme. This is the sweet revenge film for every parking pillar out there ever wrongfully blamed for a reckless turn of the wheel.
