Production company VAGRANTS has welcomed directing duo Sacred Pact for commercial representation in the US. Composed of decade-long friends Jaqueline Davis and Sunny Lee, the pair's portfolio is eclectic and diverse, and has seen them work with brands including WNBA, Adidas, Bloomingdales, The New York Times, Vogue and most recently, Gillette Razor.
Hailing from New York, the duo state that their work is, “as diverse as the city itself, spanning commercial fashion, music videos, documentaries, and social-first digital campaigns.”
Over the past six years, Sacred Pact have amassed a catalogue of work that champions diversity, representation and authenticity. Their work is purposeful and visually affecting, telling stories that resonate across platforms and audiences.
An example of this is ‘Hidden Kingdom’, a movement-fuelled exploration of dance in New York. Season one premiered at SXSW to great success, and is now in development for season two. The duo are also set to begin production on ‘Hammer & Tongs’, a dark thriller short film set in South Korea, which will begin shooting in 2025.
Reflecting on their bond as directors, Sacred Pact said, “Our bond goes deeper than friendship – it’s rooted in an unwavering commitment to storytelling with intention and conviction. Inspired by the real meaning of the phrase, ‘the blood of the oath is thicker than the water of the womb,’ we believe that the bonds we choose are the most powerful. This philosophy shapes everything we do – both on set and in life.”
Dustin Devlin, co-founder of VAGRANTS commented, "We are elated to welcome Sacred Pact to the VAGRANTS family. We are like-minded filmmakers with a shared creative identity and ethos that has brought us together. Sunny and Jacqueline embody the kindness, work ethic, and overall positive vibes VAGRANTS is known for. They know how to pull off the impossible and make it look easy."
