Samsung Corporate Social Responsibility project was created in partnership with FCB Milan and aims to help people with autism gain social and work skills
In Italy 500,000 people live with autism. They face challenges on a daily basis, often experiencing difficulties with communication and building relationships which can make finding a career more challenging. This is why PizzAut was created.
PizzAut is a non-profit association and the first pizzeria designed to be an enjoyable and accessible working environment for people with autism.
Thanks to training and practice they’re gaining the skills to become pizza chefs and waiters. Unfortunately, some of the tasks necessary to run the business come with additional challenges that are harder to solve.
Samsung sets up a multidisciplinary team to address and solve the issue. Engineers, UX designers, psychotherapists and language experts came together to design a mobile app, PizzAut app. Created with the challenges of autism in mind, this app simplifies the ordering process, allowing employees to handle orders autonomously, from the beginning to the payment. The app also communicates with the kitchen, sending orders directly, streamlining the whole process.
FCB Milan, Agency owned by Fabio Bianchi, CEO of FCB Milan and Francesco Bozza, CCO of FCB Milan, has worked together with the client to the App graphic layout and to the coordinated image for the launch event of this technology.
“Working to Corporate Social Responsibility projects is really stimulating for a creative” – Francesco Bozza says – “and doing with a Samsung, a Corporate that really believes in these issues, is even more so. I hope this partnership continues to communicate the brand value”.
