Sky Vegas has unveiled new idents for its sponsorship of evenings on Discovery Plus and Sky Comedy, created by independent agency Who Wot Why.
Sky Vegas and Who Wot Why bring to life the enjoyment of play within small moments; moments in which you can win or lose. The line: ‘Big Entertainment in Small Moments’ reflects true-life play that feels epic at the time, but ultimately is a little boost to your everyday; it’s the same feeling you get from playing the games online.
Sky Vegas’ ‘Play. It’s why we’re here’ platform launched at the start of the year to build an authentic connection by shunning overly optimistic category cliches to celebrate small moments of play that can be so entertaining. The entire campaign is built from industry defining research, led by Sky Vegas.
The work has been written, produced and directed by Who Wot Why and its independent production company Studiowww. The team has created multiple 15”, 10” and 5” films that will support the evening shows across Discovery Plus and Sky Comedy.
Jonathan Lloyd, head of gaming, brand and propositions at Sky Vegas, said, “This new work proves how fruitful ‘Big Entertainment in Small Moments’ is as a creative platform. One that is resonating with our audience and positioning the role of the Sky Vegas brand in their lives in a plausible and realistic manner. We’re delighted with this new wave and excited to see the further traction it can build.”
Sean Thompson, joint chief creative officer and co-founder at Who Wot Why, said, “Who Wot Why is all about asking simple questions. For example, why can’t we embrace the jeopardy and entertainment of life’s ups and downs, rather than the category norm of glitter-cannon monumental wins? This has led to a first in the sector and finding the truth is the responsible way forward.”
Who Wot Why has been working with Sky Vegas since 2020.
