South Africans Come Together to Honour the Country's Achievements

The opportunities that have opened up for everyone in South Africa since ’94 are astonishing, and yet it’s sometimes taken for granted or forgotten about. Brand South Africa and agency Ebony & Ivory thought it was high time the country was reminded of how proud it should be of its achievements.. 

And what better way to bring South Africans together than to also bring an entire creative team together to portray those accomplishments. Cue Brand SA, Ebony & Ivory, and the whole Spitfire crew – along with some 38 extras – collaborating closely to create an emotive and engaging piece celebrating 30 years of democracy. 

Intercut with stock and historical footage, the film authentically captures South Africans from all walks of life and all persuasions living their lives in ways that simply weren’t possible before democracy. And shows just how amazing the beautiful country can be when it works together.
