In an increasingly fast-paced society, quick and convenient fast food is the go-to for Canadians who want to dine in a dash. And while fast food may save time, it's not made to savour together.
Anomaly Toronto and Stella Artois wanted to change that by transforming an old fast food chain into the first restaurant that trades fast food coupons for gourmet sit-down meals: 'The Stella Artois Dine-Thru' is a gourmet fast food joint serving up elevated twists on classic fast food items in partnership with celebrity chef, Laurent DaGenais.
To announce the opening, Stella Artois flipped fast food tropes at every turn with billboards and TSAs outside quick service restaurants that speak to slowing down, and direct mail that spoof fast food coupons. The Stella Artois Dine-Thru is open for a limited time in the heart of downtown Toronto, right beside the Golden Arches. Here's a little video of the experience.
