Few brands boast a legacy as storied and innovative as Apple. Witty, inspiring, and thought-provoking, Apple’s advertising has repeatedly set the bar for marketers, with campaigns that resonate as much today as they did at their inception – and we’ve curated a selection of these timeless pieces in our new collection here

From humble beginnings in Steve Jobs’ garage in 1976, Apple has ripened into a globally revered company. By 2011, Apple had clinched the title of ‘World’s Most Valuable Brand’, and since then it has repeatedly occupied that spot, its market value soaring to new heights.

The secret to Apple’s worldwide acclaim isn’t just its suite of sleek products; it’s the fruit of the brand built around its relentless innovation.

In 1977, the iconic bitten apple logo was unveiled, symbolising knowledge, discovery, and taking a bite of the future. Apple’s advertising genius truly blossomed in the 1980s. The agency Chiat/Day, along with creative minds like Lee Clow and Steve Hayden, cultivated a series of visionary ads that bore the hallmark of Apple’s ethos - ‘Think Different.’ These ads didn’t just showcase gadgets; they aligned the brand with history’s mavericks and the misfits who have changed the world.

From the epic Ridley Scott-directed ‘1984’ Mackintosh launch commercial through to its playful jabs at its PC competition in ‘Get a Mac’, and on to ‘Shot on iPhone’ redefining how to creatively demonstrate a product, every Apple campaign contains a masterclass in advertising.
