Subway Canada is launching its newest campaign which asks the question - ‘How Do You Subway’?
Inspired by the unique builds and ways Canadians from coast to coast enjoy Subway, the campaign features an all-star cast including Scottie Barnes, Christine Sinclair, Seb Toutant, Mel Charlot and Melodie Daoust. In the ads, which will be aired across TV, OLV, social and digital, each star shares their unique way to Subway.
With this campaign, Subway Canada wants to celebrate the distinctive ways people order and offer inspiration for those looking for a change.
“We are so excited to bring How Do You Subway to Canadians and tell the stories of how people like to enjoy their sub,” states Lisa Mazurkewich, head of marketing at Subway Canada. “Consumer research has confirmed, we all have a SubWAY. It’s how we each customise our order to satisfy our craving and make it our own. We’re excited to channel that insight into a campaign to remind people their order is worth celebrating.”
“The best campaigns to work on start with a genuine insight into how people interact with your brand. That’s what made this one so fun to work on,” comments Dave Federico, executive creative director, Dentsu Creative. “Since ‘How Do You Subway’ is such a personal question, it was imperative we led with authenticity. Every spot features the actual go-to subs of our athletes, along with the tweaks they make that make it unique to them.”
The campaign is led by Dentsu Creative, with media buying managed by Carat, organic social by Doner North and PR & influencer partnerships by Veritas Communications.
