Iris Worldwide and Stink Films have collaborated on a new spot for Japanese car manufacturer, Suzuki. The energy-filled short follows a variety of people as they dynamically interact with a new range of hybrid cars.
In the fun-filled clip, individuals twirl and two-step as they interact with Suzuki’s cars in a series of choreographed routines in front of cafes, storefronts and the Metro. It’s a theatrical display that wouldn’t look out of place on the stage.
Inspired by the skewed sampling of instrumental hip hop artists, Goldstein created a vibrant score that features party horns, bass slides and a laid back beat. These playful textures provide a spirited atmosphere to the clip, while the repeated, stop-start nature of the sampled sounds mirrors the synchronised moves of the characters on screen.
