The new J&B Rare commercials from JWT Cape Town, directed by Leigh Ogilvie, tell an intrinsic brand story and serve as a visual metaphor for a simple equation: when you mix up the unexpected, a rare magic happens.
The anecdotes are told over four commercials within a singular approach and with a powerful and visceral blending of aesthetics. All special effects were handled in camera with additional compositing and merging of elements by BlackGinger to create these unique spots.
