Throughout her 25+ year career, Sumara has solid creative, strategic and data driven thinking with experience in multi-disciplinary marketing services like brand planning, content & influencers, commerce and CX for clients like Colgate-Palmolive, Dell, Ford, Vivo/Telefonica, Coca-Cola Company and Visa.
Under her leadership, VML Brazil has earned recognition in Effie Awards, winning 33 Effies in only 3 years, WARC Creative 100 2024 and Cannes Lions, with 55 lions in the last 6 years and the nomination of Agency of the Year two consecutive years (2021 and 2022).
She has judged the Effies, El Ojo, Clio, YouTube Works, AME and she was nominated for the Caboré 2021 Award in the Planning category. She worked with some of the most well-known agencies in the world like TBWA, Grey, Ogilvy, Y&R and VML.
