This year’s Irish jury, sponsored by Brill Building, Banjoman and Screen Scene, meets on Tuesday 1st October as the Immortals’ jury days get underway
Judging for this year’s The Immortal Awards begins in Dublin on Tuesday 1st October with the Ireland jury day, which is supported by Brill Building, Banjoman and Screen Scene.

It is the first of 17 jury days, which culminate in the final, global round of judging on December 5th. Starting in Europe, the Immortals will judge in various countries and across all regions to identify and champion the best in global commercial creativity from the last year.

The Irish jury is tasked with deciding which projects, if any, will be crowned the best of Irish advertising and go on to represent the market in the regional round of European judging, which takes place on Thursday 24th october.

Joining the group are standout creative leaders from the market’s brand, agency and production worlds.

A blend of independent and network agencies feature through The Brill Building’s Peter Snodden, Boys+Girls’ Shaunagh Farrelly, Core’s Nadia Karim, Folk VML’s Jonny Cullen, TBWA\Ireland’s Bairbre McGlade, Publicis Dublin’s Ger Roe and Droga5 Dublin’s Ray Swan.

Bord Gáis’ Meadhbh Quinn will feature from a brand perspective, whilst Banjoman’s Dermot Malone covers production.

The Immortal Awards 2024 Ireland Jury has been announced as follows:

  • Jonny Cullen, creative director, Folk VML
  • Shaunagh Farrelly, senior strategist, Boys+Girls
  • Nadia Karim, associate creative director, Core
  • Dermot Malone, founder, Banjoman
  • Bairbre McGlade, creative director, TBWA\Ireland
  • Meadhbh Quinn, marketing director, Bord Gáis
  • Ger Roe, board creative director, Publicis Dublin
  • Peter Snodden, creative partner, The Brill Building
  • Ray Swan, creative director, Droga5 Dublin

Paul Monan, awards director at The Immortal Awards, says, “Kicking off our jury sessions in Dublin has become a bit of an Immortals tradition, with this being our third consecutive year starting with our Ireland jury day. We wouldn’t be able to do that without the support of three truly fantastic partners in Brill Building, Banjoman and Screen Scene, who like us share the same commitment in showcasing Irish creativity to the world. It’s always exciting to see the work in Ireland, which historically is a smaller advertising but consistently punches above it’s weight. There’s an abundance of truly excellent ideas emanating from Ireland and the production levels are improving year on year. It’s only a matter of time until we have our first Immortal or Commendation going to an Irish project!”
