The Shipyard, a leading independent agency focused on engineering brand love, announces that it has received 'Top 5 Worldwide' recognition by AdForum in its Annual 2022 ranking of most viewed global campaigns for the full year.
The accolade is for 'Am I Dreaming?' - an iconic spot created on behalf of the agency’s long-term client partner Visit California. The star-studded creative work takes viewers on a soaring joyride through California and debuted during the Super Bowl LVI pre-game coin-toss segment.
“Having California as a backdrop for your creative is a dream, and we are thrilled so many AdForum visitors from around the globe got to experience our whimsical journey,” said Kerry Krasts, Executive Creative Director. “I want to thank our team for pushing the idea of the California Dream - “if you can dream it, you can do it,” to its limit, removing the constraints of reality and opening the door for some truly captivating and unforgettable visuals unlike anything we’ve seen before.”
Directed by Rodrigo Valdes and set to Queen mega-hit “Don’t Stop Me Now,” the spot also features several celebrity cameos – Anthony Anderson, Mario Lopez and San Francisco Giant Brandon Crawford, all of whom are California natives.
AdForum’s recognition comes on the heels of The Shipyard’s strong new business performance last year with notable wins including T. Marzetti, Thrivent, CAS, Clifton Larson Allen (CLA), Sweet Loren’s, Huntington Bank, Visit SLOCAL, Serengeti, and California Wine Institute.
